An insect which nearly every human has been bitten by in their lifetime. Mosquitos are widely unpopular, but they can still be interesting in their own way; There are over 3500 species across the globe, and it is only the females which bite animals. They require blood (Protein) to develop their eggs, and then they lay them in any area of water they can find, as the larvae require standing water to survive and grow.
Mosquitos can transmit many diseases with each bite as they can carry many pathogens and germs. Mosquito-borne diseases count for millions of human deaths each year.
